“Do something with little effort or difficulty.”
That’s the definition of convenience. And nowadays, marketers in the fitness space are selling convenience as if this was going to help you reach your goals.
Can you imagine a coach telling you, “This year we’re going to win a championship by doing those things that require little effort. We’re going to do things the easy way!”
You know that nothing great has ever been achieved without effort. So why choose the convenient option?
How to Get Results
You reach your goals by staying consistent.
Too often I hear the phrase, “Intensity is the shortcut to all results.” But brushing your teeth twice a day for 1-minute is better than brushing your teeth once a week for 14-minutes.
Consistency is king. And nothing keeps you consistent quite like being held accountable.
Convenience vs. Consistency
Vasa and Gold’s Gym sell convenience to equipment. “Just show up when you want and you can have access to anything inside.”
Orangetheory and F-45 sell convenience for in-person exercise. “Just show up and we’ll tell you what and how to do it.”
Peloton and Echelon sell convenience for virtual exercise. “Just buy this piece of equipment and login to our app. Then we’ll tell you what to do and how to do it.”
But at RxFIT, we sell you consistency. My team will ask you, “Would you like to be in-person or remote? Would you like to build muscle or burn fat? Would you prefer being in a group or one-on-one?”
The reason we ask you questions is because we can then help you stay accountable to a plan that’s important to you. And the best plan probably won’t be convenient.
But our accountability is how ensure your consistency–and how you will get results.
Your Journey
Having done this for years now, I know you are the kind of person that wants to be confident. In order to be that way, you need to look in the mirror and like the reflection you see.
The problem is losing the weight, which makes you feel discouraged and confused.
I believe everyone should feel comfortable in their own skin. That’s why we sell consistency, not convenience. And it works like this:
- Schedule a Free No-Sweat Intro. This 30-minute conversation will address your goals, we’ll discover together what’s worked well and what hasn’t in the past, and then we’ll put together a fitness plan for you.
- Meet Your Personal Coach. After receiving your fitness plan, you will then meet your exercise and nutrition coaches in-person (or over Zoom). Each of these coaches will further customize your plan and learn how best to hold you accountable to it.
- Join the Community. Finally, you will join a small group of like-minded individuals with the same goals as you. You will meet regularly with them in-person or online in a Facebook group. This is because coaches pull, teammates push.
If you haven’t already, schedule your free No-Sweat Intro here, so you can stop beating yourself up about the way you look and start feeling confident again.
